Incredible experience!
Either I can't figure out what the starting point is, or there's some bug that's keeping things from happening. Should I be able to pick up the FRIES, SUBSTANCE, and so on? Nothing happens when I click them.
Yes, clicking on those should move them into your inventory. What browser/OS are you on?
Firefox/Windows; though I opened it in Chrome and it also didn't respond at all when I clicked them--
Ohh. I see the problem now: they're behind the stupid stuff itch.io puts in the upper right corner. Apparently that's not just five rectangles, but an entire box that covers up the word.
If I scroll very carefully so the word is between the top of the window and the top of that box, or enlarge it to the point of ridiculousness, I can indeed click on the words.
Thanks- I can repro that with a specific browser width. I don't think I'll have a chance to get another build out before jam deadline, but I'll put it on the list for post-jam updates.
And, finally, done. (The floor covering was somehow a weird sticking point for me. It was right there, I looked right at it and just didn't see it, too busy trying to find a weapon, I think.) Lots of fun!
